THE LAST EDEN ON EARTH. 10 to 14 DAYS>
Located off the Northwest tip of the Bird’s head peninsula in the indonesian west Papua province, Raja Ampat, or the Four King, is an archipelago comprising over 1500 small islands, cays, and shoals surrounding the four main island of Misool, Salawati, Batanta and Waigeo, and the smaller island of Kofiau.
According to Conservation International, marine surveys suggest that the marine life diversity in the Raja Ampat area is the highest recorded on Earth. Diversity is considerably greater than any other area sampled in the Coral Triangle composed of Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, and East Timor. The Coral Triangle is the heart of the world’s coral reef biodiversity, making Raja Ampat quite possibly the richest coral reef ecosystems in the world.
1,508 fish species, 537 coral species ( 75% of all species that exist in the world), and 699 mollusk species, the variety of marine life is staggering. Some areas boast enormous schools of fish and regular sightings of sharks, such as wobbegongs.
Cruising and diving Raja Ampat, surrounding by its karst pinnacles, primary forest and white sand beaches, is a true unique experience.
From The famous Dampier Strait, to the islands of Penemu, the Aljui Bay, the stunning Wayag lagoon or the unbelievable Misool, The Lambo Liveaboard is bringing you in the best diving area.
Dive or discovery, come discover the marvelous archipelago of Raja Ampat and some of the most beautiful diving spots in the world. Depending on the length of the cruise, we cruise in the South or in the North part or both of them.
Time of the cruise between 8 to 14 days from November to February
– South Maluku / Misool –
– Ambon / Banda Islands / Misool –
(October – November or March – April)
10 to 14 days
This cruise, rich and varied, offers to you some fantastic dives like the surprising macrodiving in the Ambon‘s bay. Often compared to the macrodiving temple of the Lembeh Strait, Ambon is also the opportunity to discover a nice wreck.
The Banda Archipelago promise stunning dives, with deep walls, swimthrough, healthy coral reef, big sea fans and huge barrel sponges. Don’t forget the most exceptional Mandarin fishes spectacle for the sunset! Spending 3 days around the mythic harbor of Bandaneira is also a real back in time! Epicenter of the former cloves and nutmegs trade, it owns a particular relaxing atmosphere with some beautiful colonial architecture, museum and few old castels.
The Last 4 days will be dedicated to discover the fairy island of Misool in the south Raja Ampat area. Owning the more colorful reefs in Indonesia, Misool is a paradise for divers. Lucky you if you arrive during the anchovies rush… You will then have the chance to be in the middle of one of the most spectacular fish action in Indonesia. With the active presence of Schools of Mobulas, Spanish Mackerel, and more than 5 different species of Trevallies…
– Halmahera (North Maluku) / Raja Ampat –
– Ternate / Sorong or Sorong / Ternate –
(November – March)
10 – 14 Days
If you like to feel remote and far away from any other boats or divers, this cruise is for you.
You will discover exceptional dive sites mostly underdived and unknown. Surrounded by the stunning landscape of the volcano ridge extending south of Ternate, you will be amazed by the virgin Goraichi Islands. Its numerous seamounts and submerged rocks are providing great topography with a rich marine’s life.
Our next stop will be the surprising Patintie Strait or little komodo with its powerful currents, pristine reefs, sharks and numerous coralfish life.
Sailing south west Halmahera to the Pisang and Joronga Island, we will keep the 3 last days to enjoy the famous Raja Ampat national park.
Heading to the Penemu Island first, with its famous Melissa’s garden and its gorgeous karst-spiked lagoon, this cruise will end in The Dampier Strait, where some others 5 stars dive sites are waiting for you.

Day 3: Big White Sails & Manta Tales
– Start the day with an early morning drift along the shores of Siaba, a rare opportunity to visit the reef before others do, enjoying the myriad of fluorescence left from the night before and the steady arrival of frenzied feeding fish. After breakfast and with favourable winds we endeavour to hoist the sheets for a short sail past Pulau Mauan, diving if the currents permit. Thereafter, we await the arrival of the intrepid population of Manta Rays that inhabit the reefs of Karang Makassar. Snorkel or dive with the most graceful creatures the park has to offer before we set sail south, to the traditional village of Komodo
—
Day 4: Walking With Dragons
– In the early morning we will be entering the Komodo National Park. Escorted by a local Ranger in search of the fabled beast, the Komodo Dragon, the largest lizard on the planet. This is the only place in the world you can see them in their natural habitat and enjoy the fascinating panorama of the island. Lunch follows and two dives/snorkels perhaps exploring the underwater seascapes of Loh Namu and Loh Liang or even the famous Batu Tiga, before anchoring for the night in the one of the incredible bays around Padar Island. The morning dives are at Manta Sandy where we regularly see the Black / White and the all Black Manta Rays come to cleaned. This famous site now has a line of dead coral where guests line up and watch the show. Third dive is a beautiful coral / fish dive close to Arborek Island where guests can also have a sun set walk on the beach before the fourth / night dive at the village jetty.
DAY 7 : ARBOREK – DAMPIER STRAIT
Finishing off your great trip with two shallow dives in the Dampier Strait which has some great action packed fish dives, like Cape Kri and Blue Magic. After your busy diving schedule has come to a sad end we will have a lazy afternoon on Pulau Pasir (Sand Island) before returning to Sorong.
DAY 8 : DAMPIER – SORONG DEPARTURE
After breakfast the Cruise Director will escort the guests to either the airport / hotel and will assist with checking in. Sorry to say that your Seamore Papua Raja Ampat trip has come to an end and we look forward to welcoming you on board again. *Cruising itineraries and daily programs are subject to change due to weather / sea conditions and dive site / anchorage availability.
